Abeego is a fabric of hemp and organic cotton infused with beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin. The wraps create a breathable environment to prevent your food from spoiling. The combination of wax, resin and oil is what makes the wrap so malleable. The blend of ingredients insure a long lifespan, flexibility and adhesiveness. The material is self adhesive, so it will keep its shape when folded around food.
The natural ingredients have each been used for centuries for their preservative qualities. The result is a slightly tacky, moldable fabric that warms up in your hands and easily wraps around the food you want to store. In the fridge, Abeego becomes stiffer, adhering to the food shape.
Unlike plastic cling wrap, which leads to condensation build-up and moldy cheese, Abeego lets your cheese breath while preserving it.
Abeego square wraps come in three sizes: 7, 10 and 13 inches (18, 25 and 33 cm) . They are sold in packs of 6 small, 3 medium or 2 large wraps, or a combo pack with one sheet of each size.
